Did they give her an iPod Touch? Because that matters. If it was a touch, then the touch by 1st Lady Obama is likely acceptable. If they gave her a Nano then it’s questionable, but a Shuffle would be completely inappropriate.
It seems that the iPod can really dictate royal protocol. Now I wonder if out of the Broadway 40-songs loaded on it they put The Who’s Tommy, Touch me, Heal me, Feel me?
